RBG Youth Leaders

Twelve weeks. One question: what kind of man are you becoming?

RBG Youth Leaders is a culturally rooted rites-of-passage program that guides young men toward a deeper understanding of identity, responsibility, discipline, leadership, and service.

Participants reconnect with their cultural history while building practical skills through STEAAM: science, technology, entrepreneurship, arts, agriculture, and mathematics.

The program opens doors as well as minds. Young men are introduced to career pathways in firefighting and public service, to civic engagement in their own community, and to skilled trades including plumbing, landscaping, and HVAC. These are not abstract futures. They are jobs held by people in Phoenix, and the program puts them within reach.

Through mentorship, hands-on learning, and shared experience, each participant is challenged to recognize his potential, strengthen his character, and take real steps toward responsible young manhood.

What participants do

  • Explore identity and cultural history alongside mentors who have walked it
  • Build skills across STEAAM: science, technology, entrepreneurship, arts, agriculture, mathematics
  • Meet working professionals in firefighting, public service, and the skilled trades
  • Take part in civic engagement in their own neighborhoods
  • Complete the program as part of a cohort, not alone
